According to the report of National Automobile Association, on 2008 January to May, the economy of motorcycle manufacturing enterprises overall ran stably, and main economic indicators remain growing different degrees; comparing with the same period of last year, total industrial output value, industrial sales output value grew a bit faster and the main business income, total profit grew a bit slower, the losses of enterprises took a bit higher.  

 -- The total industrial output value, industrial sales output value grew faster, and the increasing speed took a bit rapid;  out and sales rate still kept higher level. From January to May, national 113 motorcycle manufacturers finished accumulative total industrial output value of 45.515 billion yuan, with a comparing increase of 19.81 percent, and the increase account was 7.527 billion yuan, and the increasing speed was 4.85 percent faster than the same period of last year; the accumulated industrial sales output value was 45.817 billion Yuan, with a comparing increase of 19.96 percent, and the increase account was 7.624 billion yuan, and the increase speed was 0.73 percent faster than the same period of last year; the accumulated industrial added value was 8.079 billion yuan, with an comparing increase of 20.25 percent, and the increase acount was 1.36 billion yuan.

From January to May, the output and sales of motorcycle manufacturing enterprises kept higher level of 100.66 percent, with an increase of 0.12 percent comparing with the the same period of last year. ?? -- Prime operating revenue, total profits kept growing, and the increasing rate obviously declined; comprehensive index of economic  improved slightly. From January to May, national 113 motorcycle manufacturers finished accumulative total prime operating revenue 45.682 billion yuan, with a comparing increase of 19.44 percent, and the increase account was 7.435 billion yuan, and the growth rate was 1.78 percent lower than the same period of last year; the accumulated total profits was 1.097 billion Yuan with a comparing increase of  5.89 percent, and the increased account was 0.61 million yuan, and the growth rate was 36.24 percent lower than the same period of last year; the accumulated taxes profit was 2.451 billion yuan with a comparing increase of 13.89 percent and the increased account was 0.299 billion yuan.

From January to May, the industry economy comprehensive index of national 113 motorcycle manufacturers was 179.40 with a comparing increase of 5.96 point than the same period of last year.  

-- The top 10 companies all made profits. From January to May, among national 113 motorcycle manufacturers, the top 10 enterprises of main business income were the Dachangjiang, Zongshen, Lifan, Longxin, Jianshe Shares, Qianjiang, Jincheng, Honda-sundiro, Guangzhou Motorcycle, Luoyang North, and the main business revenues were 4.935 billion yuan, 4.377 billion yuan, 4.237 billion yuan, 3.872 billion yuan, 2.203 billion yuan, 2.187 billion yuan, 2.077 billion yuan, 1.896 billion yuan, 1.869 billion yuan, 1.651 billion Yuan. Compared with the same period of last year, 10 enterprises all made different degrees growth among which Jincheng, Lifan, Zongshen three enterprises made higher growth and respectively were 49.59 percent, 30.46 percent, 29.26 percent. From January to May, the main business income of front 10 enterprises totally was 29.305 billion yuan and occupied about 64.15 percent of  the main business income.

From January to May, all the top ten enterprises of the main business income made profits,  and the total profit account was 980 million yuan, which occupied about 89.36 percent of the total profit account of motorcycle manufacturers. Compared with a year earlier, except the total profit account of Jianshe, Jincheng, Qianjiang enterpises, the other seven enterprises made different degrees growth.

 -- Net accounts receivable, inventory of finished products has increased. At the end of May, the net accounts receivable of national 113 motorcycle manufacturers was 10.475 billion yuan, and increased 1.014 billion yuan compared with increasing 1.014 billion yuan at the end of April, up 10.71 percent; comparing with the same period of last year, increased 1.913 billion yuan, up 22.34percent. The inventory of finished products was 0.304 billion yuan and increased 0.151 billion yuan compared with the end of April, up 4.65 percent; comparing with the same period of last year, increased 0.281 billion yuan, up 9.01 percent. At the end of May, the net accounts receivable and inventory of finished products was 13.88 billion yuan, occupying about 31.5 percent of total current assets of motorcycle manufacturers. 

-- The losses of enterprises increased slightly. At the end of May, among the national 113 motorcycle manufacturers, there were 40 loss-making enterprises. Compared with the same period of last year, the losses rate was up 7.47 percent.
