U.S. dealers facing the changes of consumer tastes, began to take the strategy of changing defense to attack. One old famous car dealer which is in West Hartford, recently determined to give up the HUMMER sales reputation which was made painstaking efforts, and try to expand truckle motorcycles and e-vehicle market.
Crowley Chevrolet and Hummer dealers have made decision that except giving up the possibility of agreement renewal, they will immediately completely stop the sales of GM auto cars. In fact, the local newspaper offices and medias kept guessing how the Crowley dealers face the rapidly changing America auto market. This Tuesday, after Crolwey finally made decision, the shocking advertisement, Hartford dealers refusing to renewal agreement with GM, which occupied a quarter of local newspaper was published. Ken Crowley who owned 12 dealer offices in seven places in Central Connecticut, denoted that he expected to sell out the CHEVROLET and HUMMER inventory before the end of September. But before that, he will begin selling truckle motorcycles and e-vehicle one step ahead. Although Crowley himself refused to disclose the agreement between GM and him, he denoted that auto cars industry are changing, "all the things have changed and we can not return to the past" when in an interview with local media.
But such changes are extremely fierce to Crowley. Crowley will completely abandon the sale of representative US-made sport utility vehicle in high fuel consumption decades, but input Chinese-made truckle motorcycles and e-vehicle which were from Europe.
